DesertEagle50
Hello, I have a creaking noise coming from the passenger side front suspension. The noise appeared about three days ago. The noise is only heard when making a sharp right turn at a low speed, at the moment when the weight of the car shifts from the passenger side to the driver side. There are no handling or driveability issues. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
rich_e777
Start with checking your front sway bar bushing on the C-arms and then the two inners on the subframe, if they are cracked replace them. Then look at tie rod ends and ball joints, check the rubber on them and replace if needed. After that suspect the struts, their mounts and the bearing at the top of the front strut Always replace suspension components in pairs!!!!! Schurkey
"Creaking" is nearly-always related to a rubber suspension component. While the sway-bar bushings are probably #1, control arm bushings and strut isolators would be #2 and #3.
