Joe Noble
Will these fit my 96 Lumina? I've heard yes but I've also heard no. I'd at least like to use the rears. http://drcustomparts.com/HomePage.htm

Joe Noble
I sent them an email. Here's the response. "Joe I'm sorry but the brackets and bar won't fit your car since the bolt spacing is different than the Grand Prix/Impala/Monte Carlo. Don" But I've been told that a a strut tower bar for a grand prix will fit and if it'll fit a monte carlo then it should fit a lumina right? Joe Noble
But won't a second gen grand prix strut tower bar fit a 1.5 gen?
RobertISaar
http://www.w-body.com/showthread.php/2467-Front-and-Rear-Strut-Tower-Bar-(Brace) that may be helpful.
l67ss
The brackets from a rear strut tower brace meant for a 97+ gp will fill fitthe rear of ur lumina but the bar itself will be too wide
Joe Noble
I've got the bars but was hoping to use the mounting brackets to avoid drilling.

Joe Noble
This is what I bought and they seem like they fit perfectly but like I was sayin I'd rather not have to drill. https://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/KeywordSearchCmd?searchTerm=809-12498648&storeId=10001&catalogId=10002&resultCatEntryType=2&Ntk=all&Jnar=0&Ne=1%2B2%2B3%2B13%2B1147708

Joe Noble
I haven't but they don't just bolt on. You have to drill holes to run the mounting bolts up through.

Get a cutlass supreme convertable fstb...its pure bolt on. Im guessing the braces you have require drilling through the strut mount itself......thas no bueno. Joe Noble
I found a guy that has the strut tops for the front that the bar will mount to, just need somethin for the rear.
Nas Escobar
But won't a second gen grand prix strut tower bar fit a 1.5 gen? 1.5 is closer to the 88-97 Cutlass, the 88-96 Grand Prix, the 88-96 Regal and the 90-94 Lumina. The 2000 Monte Carlo is different from the 95-99 one. So Gen 2 stuff doesn't fit 1.5 or 1.0 stuff.
