Guest Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 I am working on a disc brake project for my little travel trailer (2200# normal/3000# max). Hate drums, love disc. Anyway, the rotors that best fit the application are the 10 1/2" front rotors from the early style w-body cars. I was wondering what brand/style of rotors seem to work the best. Would prefer to not spend a ton of money, but all recommendations will be considered. Thanks. Quote
okidedrak Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 i'd buy any rotos that's made in US or Canada..no CHINAWARE!!! Brands are too expensive for nothing..trust me Quote
SuperBuick Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Thats about all our 10.5 inch rotors are good for is brakes on a trailer!!! Looks like you found the real intended use for them. They certainly aren't fit to slow down our 3200+ pound cars Quote
crazychuck29 Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 i pulled the abs fuse and my car seems to stop awesome it's very hard to lock the brakes up. Quote
