DesertEagle50
I was tracking down the source of a leaky trunk in my 1995 Chevy Lumina. When I pulled back part of the trunk liner, I noticed some rust streaks around the strut tower. I started pushing with my fingers inside the rear wheel well, and I felt the crunch of rust. I will post the pics from my phone, and I need to know how bad it is. Thanks. RobertISaar
mine isn't quite that bad at the top of the towers, but I'm well aware of how little time the MC has left before I pull the engine/trans and anything else that won't be king of the scrap heap for a few minutes. that is still repairable though..... but it would be labor intensive.... unless you have one hell of a sentimental attachment, I wouldn't make any long-term plans with it. if the top of the towers is bad..... the trailing arm mounts are probably about gone, as is the rear subframe, the floor rails and all of the other rust prone areas of the 1.5 w-bodies. Antmann1992
I'd been driving with the passenger side mount broke for a good 6 months or so and just got it fixed, i'd say screw it and go all out till she cant take no more
