96 Regal door Latches?

The yellow plastic in all 4 of my 96 Regal door latches are falling apart.

The latches at the salvage yard are the same way the yellow plastic part is rotten.

Does any one know if these latches can be purchased new?

Do you mean the clips that hold the rod in place?

What I am talking about is the yellow plastic that the striker bolt heat appears to park on when the door is shut.

This yellow plastic appears to be surrounded by steel except for the black plastic latching arm that is on the outside edge.

I have a 96 Regal, still can't picture what you need, could you post a pic?

You can see a broken chunk of orange looking plastic at the edge of where the steel ends and the plastic starts. You can’t see the rest of the yellow plastic because of the black plastic latch arm.

Wow, I never looked that close. My doors don't rattle or anything, I'll look tomorrow and gee what they look like up close.
