96 Grand Prix Door adjustment

Long story short. I have a 96 se coupe. Driver door and fender were hit. I bought replacement fender and door. Installed both. Door does not shut tight. Fits good as far as up and down, but the back side of the door protrudes from the body about 1/4 inch, front of the door seems to line up with the fender just fine. When the door is shut I can push it in about that 1/4 inch.

I am guessing the hinges can be shimmed etc.. in some way to solve this problem.

Just looking for any help in what I need to do for an adjustment to make the door shut properly/completely.
