Mstg007 Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Just another off the wall question for you guys. The bottom of the car is / looks really rusty. How would you recommend cleaning it up before I store it? Its a 94 Convertible, and I do not take it to Mikes express and get an undercoating because it leaks like crazy if I do. I have also hear of people using a vinegar agent with a hose and spraying the bottom with it. I don't know. Just trying to prevent more rust falling down on my garage floor. Thanks for any advise. urbex Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Rust is cancerous. Once it starts it really never stops. You could always grind off as much as jou can and coat it with POR15, but that will still only do so much. Short of cutting out the metal and replacing it, that's probably what I would do (actually it is what I do) Quote
94 olds vert Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Buy a car with no rust. Quote
