Antmann1992
Just went for a ride and it loosened it, motors going it makes a nice grinding noise now. how hard is it to change it?
jman093
IIRC, you have to remove the regulator. If so, it is riveted to the door frame and I'm also pretty sure the motor is riveted to the regulator, although the replacement one may bolt on. Outside of having to drill or cut a bunch of rivets, it is not especially difficult. While apart lube the shit out of the regulator and glass where the rollers ride and lube the guides as well. I'd recommend a ACDelco motor. They just work better and seem to have less propensity for grinding/slipping than aftermarket ones. My TGP had a new aftermarket motor in the left door when I bought it, but it would grind and jam. Put a Delco in it and it's fine.
