Has anyone removed one of these?

It's near to impossible to get out unless you remove the exhaust crossover. You need a deep socket and there isn't enough room on the end to get the ratchet on.

Open and box end wrenches have no room to crank.

Seriously wtf?

My brother is adamant that I have to replace this and its near impossible to convince him otherwise.

I used a wrench and small frequent turns lol. It is a LOT easier with the crossover out of the way, but it can be done with it still there, just a tight fit and a lot of small turns with a wrench.
