ld2 and 4t60

I believe the LD2 used the 3T40 (or THM125) with the 3.18 FDR.

The LG0 (HO) had the 5 speed and it was a 282 but with 3.61 FDR.

If you want a Quad 4 5 speed, then you gotta get the Q4 and the 282 MUNCIE.

And yes, the Muncie was made by Getrag but there were 2 Getrags, the Muncie from the early 90's and the NVG T550 which I think started production in 93... By this time there were no 5 speeds in W bodies... or so I want to say, I know 94s were all automatics and had OBD1 with OBD2 codes (the infamous OBD1.5).

If you want an auto Q4, then you have to basically get a J body powertrain in there, which your issue would be mounts and the fact that you would need custom transaxles and a PCM tune as the PCM will not like that at all, despite being OBD1. Q4's were mated to a Getrag or a TH125. If you wanted a 4 speed, the closest thing you would get to is a 4T40 from a Twin Cam engine. Come to think of it, if the Twin Cam has the same bellhouse pattern as the Q4, you could get an F23 from a later model Cavalier or Grand Am/Alero.

Regardless it would be quite the chore.

dont want 4t60e i like as little electronics as possible stuff is easier to fix without it and you dont have to worry about a stupid electronic switch going bad to ruin a trip etc.

so not worth putting in the 2.3l dohc into my lumina? or would it just be easier to do a l67

I personally would just look for a 5 speed Q4 Cutlass Supreme.
