1995GrandprixRED2dr Posted November 16, 2003 Report Posted November 16, 2003 Hey guys, I have been looking at the RSM racing and they have a strut tower brace for a 1989-1996 and i am just wondering if any of you have it and it if fits right onto the car with out any drilling and shit? Thx Rob http://www.rsmracing.com/grandprix.htm Quote
J Posted November 16, 2003 Report Posted November 16, 2003 be careful when dealing with RSM, they have ripped off a lot of people (so i've heard) later Jay for the info you could try and contact them, they could prolly answer your question the best. Quote
1995GrandprixRED2dr Posted November 16, 2003 Author Report Posted November 16, 2003 What have people said about them? I was just wondering if anyone had purchased it and how it fitted and how they liked it. Thx rob Quote
cutsup1996 Posted November 16, 2003 Report Posted November 16, 2003 yes i have their front STB on my 96' cutty and i love it, bolted right up no problems whatsoever. and can honestly say i do notice a difference and i am getting the rear STB from them for christmas, I also got their intake for my car a while ago too. I have had no problems at all with RSM, they were nice to me when i called to order, i got my stuff when they said i would and actually sent me another silicone boot for free on my intake cause i phucked it up when i put it on. i can't wait to get my rear STB and plan on getting other parts from them. Bolt_Crank Posted November 16, 2003 Report Posted November 16, 2003 maybe some of the complaining others have done is starting to have an effect  Quote

cutsup1996 Posted November 16, 2003 Report Posted November 16, 2003 sorry no pic, (technology impaired) but it looks like the pics on their site @ http://www.rsmracing.com, dunno why other people have had problems with them, maybe cause they're like canadian or something, j/k Quote
1995GrandprixRED2dr Posted November 17, 2003 Author Report Posted November 17, 2003 So does the brace fit over that hump on the strut bracket too? thx rob Quote
cutsup1996 Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 yep, all you do is use the existing three bolts on top of your strut towers to bolt down the "C" plates for the STB, then the bar has two bolts on either side to adjust the length and then tighten it down, trust me anybody can do it and in like 20 mins or less Quote
1995GrandprixRED2dr Posted November 17, 2003 Author Report Posted November 17, 2003 alright, i do believe i will have to get one. I have been wanting one for ever. And i had my dad look for one since he works at a GM dealer and he couldnt even find one of the old cutty convertible one so i found one know and i am happy. thx rob Quote
