jake91
so im trying to install my GXP gas and brake pedal pads in my 03 GTP. The brake is a slip on rubber pad, but the gas actually has to be removed and a whole new plastic pedal installed, and i cant for the life of me figure out how to remove the stock one
carkhz316
I'm not positive about 2nd gens, but assuming they're similar to older stuff, it will be 2 10mm' s (one bolt, one stud) that hold it to the firewall in front of the pedal itself. Then there is the pass-through clip thing that that cable goes through in the firewall. I hope this helps.
jake91
Yeah I saw all that I actually just need to remove the pad though not the whole arm/assembly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
94 olds vert
Gas pedal has like a rivet on it. Do what you will with that info. If it was me I would pry off that little metal clip and then remove the bolt looking rivety thingy and then put it back together with a new pedal. The other side is smooth. There is a spring in the middle.
