Boot for convertible top??

Have had this car for 4 years and the boot has never fit properly. It is like it has shrunk . Keeps popping off the ends. Any solutions??

custom make a new one? They all fit like crap, expecially after 20 years. Mine never fit good at all, I rarely used it unless I was going to have the top down all day and be running around

I replaced the velcro on mine and that helped a bit. In general they dont fit very well.

My friend has camaro convertible. It came with nice 3 piece plastic inserts. would like something like that. Like you said, rarely use it as it looks bad with corners popped out. Had this car four years . Like it but there were a lot of cheaply made parts on it. Thanks for reply guys:D

I dont think plastic would work. Unless you had something custom molded to make the curves.

 

I know someone who makes plastic molds...I wonder.

check 1993 camaro convertible. just google image . top looks really smart. I also agree though. Our top seems to not go in the trunk as deeply most likely because of its size I guess.
