jsomethin Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 So I'm in the process of buying a '96 Cutlass Supreme (not SL), and the one thing I wish that it had was Cruise Control. I assume that the SL has cruise, and I'm wondering how much work would be required to add cruise to my car (if it's even possible at all)? Has anyone ever tried it?? thanks! -j Quote
z34Phoenix Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 my guess would be: -CC module that connects to TB -wire harness -interior wiring -turn signal switch with CC buttons Quote
Crazy K Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 I do not believe they were made without cruise control, at least not 94-97 models.... Quote
tornado_735 Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 I do not believe they were made without cruise control, at least not 94-97 models.... If anybody would know besides the engineers who designed the cars, it would be this man right here. Quote
Imp558 Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 The cruise module is a fairly simple creature and it's got a cable that's 50 or 60 feet long, so you don't even have to mount it under the hood, mine's inside the LF fender. You'll likely need the TB that accepts both cables on top of the aforementioned list. Quote
ManicMechanic Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 It should already have cruise control. Quote
