Addind auto lock/unlock to '92 CSC.

I want to replace the chime module in my '92 CSC w/one from a '94 CSC. The '92 module has a purple wire and a red wire that plugs in next to the chime module. The '94 module has a 5 wire plug that runs thru a harness. After searching I found a thread that gave me the pin-outs for the '94.

 

Can anyone tell me if the terminals for red & purple wires are used and what they go to for that matter?

Well it appears that it does match if you are smart enough to read the manual correctly .

 

Could someone tell what the 8th blade on the '94 chime module is for? Thanks ,Steve.
