Does anyone know the FDR of a 97 Monte Carlo 3.4 Dohc 4t65 trans?

trans code 7YSB, only used on the 97 3.4 MC/lumina, has a 3.05 differential and a 33/37 chain/sprocket set, makes the actual drive ratio 3.42. should have a 245mm converter with a FJHB code on it, with a ~2100RPM stall speed.

Would u happen to know if I could swap the 3100 diff and get the same FDR as doing it in a 4t60

i'm..... not following?

you mean use a 3.33 gearset with the 33/37 chain/sprocket set?

i'm certain it has been done, you would end up with 3.73 gears that way.

i seem to remember 3.29 gears also being used on the very late 4T60Es, that would end up at 3.69.

That is actually the exact info I wanted to know Robert. I was hoping to reproduce what I was going to do with my 4t60e but I want the tunability of the 4t65. And now I know I can get the same FDR ratio out of it that is what I'm going to do
