94 olds vert Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 At least the body wasnt shortened to fit on that frame. Quote
RobertISaar Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 i know it's done for the weight transfer, but damn is that engine sunk far back into the firewall.... Quote
tornado_735 Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 That looks slightly faster than your average grandpa car... EDIT: WTF is going on with the brown G-Body Cutlass on the left in the second picture?? Bro, do you even stance? LOL Quote
intern8tion9l Posted February 25, 2014 Report Posted February 25, 2014 Zomg wbody rwd conversion Quote
pshojo Posted February 25, 2014 Author Report Posted February 25, 2014 I never was able to locate the owner of the cutlass at the car show. Unfortunately, I really wanted to talk to him. Besides it hade Olds V8, believe it was big block. it filled up the engine compartment well. Quote
Reride Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 I would say that the motor is set back so far is to have room for the water pump, charging system, fan, & radiator. Having the #1 spark plug line up w/front spindle big added bonus. Could be an old NHRA Super-mod class drag car. A class that runs V-8 motors & rwd in Caviliers, Cobalts, Buick Sommersets, & the like with G.M. bodies. How much leg room do you think there is? Quote
LumiLTZ Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 This Cutlass looks cool, but I love those B-body wagons I see in the background of the 1st photo. Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 Nice. Looks like an '88 body. It has glass headlights and I think the chrome grilles were exclusive to 88s. Quote
Euro Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 This Cutlass looks cool, but I love those B-body wagons I see in the background of the 1st photo. Right?? I really need to make it to an all Oldsmobile show one of these days. Quote
