Schurkey Posted February 22, 2014 Report Share Posted February 22, 2014 I'm old enough to remember the "Firestone 500" debacle; and I bought a used work-car ('76 Nova) with Firestone 721s on it. As a result, it was no surprise to me that the Ford Exploders tumbled and rolled due to defective skins installed on defective vehicles. I had that Nova about two weeks before the belt broke on one of 'em. No way on Earth I'd buy a Firestone product...including their service/repair work. But, yeah, cool Cutlass 'vert.
