disconnected wire 92 cutlass supreme

V6I've been having an idling issue and I can hear a vacuum leak so I'm hoping that is the issue. While I was digging around in the engine compartment looking for it I found a wire that is disconnected. it's a 2 wire connector that runs from the wire harness over the driverside strut and it looks like it goes down and either to the back of the engine or to the trans. I couldn't find where it goes to. Does anyone know where/what it could go to?

Fuel pump test lead?

Wire colors? 2 pin plug with an orange wire and a black wire would be in that neighborhood for the underhood lamp.

thanks! it was the hood light I just assumed that it was blown but now it works

Get some starter fluid to spray around suspected vacuum leak areas, listen for a change in idle. Or you could improvise a smoke test if you don't mind cigars.
