Privyet! (sp?)

It's Privet... "pryvit" if you wanna say it in Ukrainian.

Anyways, welcome to the forums!

I've always wondered how those early GM cars got to Eastern Europe... and how many/which ones made it all the way over there.

Welcome! Nice car!! And SO CLEAN!! :D

Weird seeing a 1990 with miniquads and that cladding

Man that's a sexy engine bay

I'd be a little shocked if this was actually a 1990 Grand Prix and not just a 1991 that was built in the 1990 calendar year . . . yes stranger things have happened - for one it have a louvered hood without an LQ1 engine.

Regardless that thing looks absolutely wonderful, welcome!!

Pardon my ignorance, but they were sold in Ukraine? Or was this imported in a special way at some point?

Yes, that car is bad ass! But the US automakers have exported and even produced different versions of US cars over the years so I wasn't sure. Some of the the european Ford Escorts were really cool.

When the iron wall fell, American cars flooded into Eastern Europe. GM didn't officially export Pontiac into Europe, every Pontiac that has found its way over there is a grey import. What's interesting is that Ukraine and Russia have a lot of Cavaliers.
