RobertISaar
assuming GM followed the same pattern as what they did for the 95 police luminas: more accurate speedometer calculation modified A/C operation modified speed/rev limiters and that is about it. l67ss
Sooo my speedo is going to be even MORE accurate? My 9c3 cluster is already less than a half mile off from my gps even with the 18s assuming GM followed the same pattern as what they did for the 95 police luminas: more accurate speedometer calculation modified A/C operation modified speed/rev limiters and that is about it. RobertISaar
it might be. the way GM did the calibrations for 95 was to make a single calibration that covered both wheel/tire combos(205/70R15 and 225/60R16, IIRC) and set the pulses/mile setting exactly in the middle of the two. very little error for either one. but when they released the police calibration(with police specific tire size of 215/65R15, i THINK?), they set pulses/mile perfectly for that size to keep the digital speedo 100% correct. RobertISaar
............ with very few exceptions, all enthusiast oriented engines will be like that. i'd be much more worried about the trans.
l67ss
Yeah thats y decided to skip the hd route. My 4t65 was a fresh rebuild behind an l36 that caught fire before they could really abuse it ............ with very few exceptions, all enthusiast oriented engines will be like that. i'd be much more worried about the trans.
