Just bought a 90 GPT McLaren, have one question

He stated the light comes on regardless of fuel level. That would indicate cluster problem. I would have been more surprised if his cluster was working correctly.

However, the light does go off after I've driven it awhile. This is the "newest" car I've had, and yeah I initially thought the float level must be bad like it is on just about every other old car & truck I have.
