l36 injector question

Are the newer style(2000+) injectors any better than the 99 and older ones? The newer style is more available plus the l36 im getting is a 2004. Thanks :)

Yes, the Multec 2's have better fuel atomization. They usually were run at a higher psi though, 58 I think, than the old ones which were 43.5 psi. When I large port swapped my brother's 3100, I swapped in the newer injectors along with the rail or pressure regulator to step up the same psi as the LG8. I did have to recalibrate the injector flow rate with a tuner since it changed, so keep that in mind or else you'll find yourself doing more harm than good.

Ok thanks. Guess ill greb an older set while at the jy. Didnt wanna do any tuning till i started boosting it. Would it be worth while to get the new style when i topswap?
