Anyone put a spoiler on a vert that didn't have one before?

Hi folks, will someone that has installed a spoiler and had to drill holes in the trunk, tell me how you decided where the holes were to be drilled?

The spoiler has studs on it. Put it on the trunk where it looks good, mark it, drill it and bolt it down

If you pop the trunk and look underneath it, you should see 4 holes on the frame closer to the back of it, and those are where the bolts are for the factory Cutlass wing/rear spoiler. To mark just get a nail or something hard with a point find the holes already in the trunk frame and then just tap upwards on your nail with a hammer. That should leave a small but visible dent on the top of your trunk showing you were to drill. I`m doing something similar installing some chrome hood pins. You`re not trying to bolt on a park bench are you?
