deftonesrocker Posted December 13, 2013 Report Posted December 13, 2013 Well I need to swap my 4t60e. I have a 96 grand prix gtp with the 3.4 L DOHC. transmission is the 4t60e (M13). Will a 4t60e from a 96 cutlass supreme w/ the same 3.4 L engine fit directly into my car? I can get it from a junkyard for like 200 bucks. Quote

digitallyphoenix Posted December 13, 2013 Report Posted December 13, 2013 i did not think they mad the CS with 3.4 in 96. i thought only the grand prix had the 96 3.4. the gear ratio's should be the same as long as its from a dohc 4t60e so it should work Quote

Well the 4t60-e I was looking at is no longer available so i found one thats a lttle more $ but from a 96 monte carlo that had the 3.4 DOHC. will that gear ratio and valve body still be the same?
