White93z34 Posted January 21, 2014 Report Share Posted January 21, 2014 It has the same colours that GM uses on their show engines up through today, same silver paint/coating along with a big pipe coming out of the oil pan to mount on a display stand. More then likely this engine once was displayed at Cobo hall, and/NY/Vegas/wherever the autoshow show circuit took it back in 1996/7 and later was donated to the tech school that then sold it off years later.
