If the starter is working properly, the engine is turning over.

Your problem seems to be that it cranks but won't start. That's entirely different from "won't turn over".

Sure, it could be the ignition control module. Could be fouled plugs. HOW do you "know" that it's getting fuel? If it's getting fuel, but won't start--yet it "cranks and cranks", the plugs are almost certainly gasoline-fouled by now.

I suppose I jinxed myself by replying to this one, my "new" 80K L67 did the same to me this morning on the first truly cold day of winter. I checked the schraeder valve and no fuel so the next step is to jump the relay and check the pump, then see if the PCM is putting out power to the relay. If yours has fuel pressure and it's adequate you'd start looking at the ICM and Cam sensor. A severe drop in temperature like we both experienced is likely electrical, Fuel Pump, PCM, ICM, CPS. But from what I've seen the 3800 CPS will usually get grumpy for a while before it fails completely.

Ok so here is an update.. I have plenty of fuel pressure at the rail. Replaced a broken map sensor. And verified I have spark to the plugs. So I have ruled out ignition control module..so it has fuel and spark but when I took off the tubing from the airbox to the intake and put my hand there while cranking it there is little force pulling air in could this be mechanical now?
