yorxs Posted November 5, 2013 Report Posted November 5, 2013 Finishing up the turn signal switch replacement, and I'm stuck again. When tightening down the bolt to the turn signal stalk, it presses the high beam switch keeping them on. If I remove the stalk I can press the switch down and it will lock, pressing it again will unlock it, so the switch appears to be working. The first pic is with the stalk out. The second pic shows a corner piece that tucks into the column, I feel these piece is in correct but thought I'd double check. The third pic is with the stalk in The fourth pic shows how the switch can slide to the right, I cannot press it in this position. Quote
Crazy K Posted November 5, 2013 Report Posted November 5, 2013 the switch adjusts on the column. iirc it is mounted with two 8mm nuts/bolts on the side of the column under the dash. remove the kick panel for access. It might be on the top side of the column... but still doable. do make sure the rod is going into the switch properly as well. Quote
