1flyltz
i have a 98 ltz i did the naughty thing and cut my springs to lower it. heard a few successful stories and gas monkey garage did it, but i think the 170k shocks couldnt handle the drop and odd spring rate. so yeah now the car starts slipping when coming off from stops but only after 10 minutes or so of driving. the other night i drove until it slipped, turned it off while i moved the other car away from my garage door to pull the lumi in and in the 2 min tops it sat the slip went away again. moral of the story that car is parked until i go get another set of struts to restore factory height. what could i have possibly damaged. if im gentle on the gas it'll pull decent, i feel if i were to give her id might as well be in neutral. What are your guy's thoughts. this is my excuse for a junkyard dog top swap/hd tranny build if its toast.
Schurkey
First Guess: Ride height has NOTHING to do with trans slipping.
