beachbum77
Hi everyone, I have a 2004 GTP Grand Prix that has suddenly started dropping cruise intermittently. Seems to mostly happen when going downhill. I can do a resume and it will work for a bit, then go off again. Any ideas? Thanks, Brad

beachbum77
I read that the "3rd" brake light could cause the cruise not to work, but cause it to be intermittent?

beachbum77
Not the brake light. They all seem to be working fine.
95 vert
There's different contacts/switch for the cruise than the brake lights. Every GM I've had for the last ten years has been a brake light switch causing intermittent or inop cruise. Got a scan tool? Check for "brake applied" (without touching the brake pedal)
