T_rev87
Okay, I want to build my LG8 into a monster N/A 3100. This will be my first build and it's gonna be a unique one. I'm not 100% sure on what exactly I want done seeing as how it's my first build but here's a basic list of what I would like to do. Bored .30 over, port and polished upper and lower intake, high compression pistons and rings, maybe a stroker kit if one exists, and a stage 2 cam. I do not want to go induced I want this to be all natural. The next build I might throw a blower into the equation but not this one. I would love suggestions and maybe the companies that offer the parts and links WOULD BE GREAT lol. What other upgrades do you recommend? I open to all suggestions. Thank you in advance
l67ss
Overbore wouldnt b worth doing(unless your engines pretty worn) not a whole lot for these engines, especially n/a. RobertISaar
if you're going that far into the engine, you'll be MUCH further ahead to start with a 3400 or even 3500 block and rotating assembly. over on 60V6, superdave built his 3500 up to near 350 crank HP and was still pulling around 30MPG on the highway with i want to say a nearly flat 13 second ET. 19Cutlass94
If your going to start anywhere, you need atleast a 3400 block and bottom end. The most important question is what is your budget? These little motors take a lot of money. Sent from my iPhone
T_rev87
The upper intakes between the 3100 and the 3400 are the same inside diameter right? just one says something different than the other? I want my build to say 3100 across the top but not if it will rob me of power.
