Hello Everyone,

I was referred here to see if anyone here could help me with the current value for the 98 Pontiac Grand Prix Daytona 500 Pace Car. It has about 120k miles on it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Your name is Beausoleil? Mine is Jay Beausoleil! Can't help you with the value, but nice to meet another Beausoleil.

I would say about 2200. They are not worth any more than the regular GTP's

Thanks! They used to list the pace car value separately on NADA but not on KBB a few years back, but it's been awhile since I have looked and now NADA does not have it listed either.

Really hate to sell it b/c it was my first car and is like my baby but going to be moving and no place to store it at the new place. :(

Any pictures? How is the condition of it? I'd put the value a little higher than $2200 IMO...depending on the upkeep and condition. Any rust?

Also, what number is it and does it have a sunroof?

Hey Matt-

It's # 1051/1500 and it does not have a sunroof. I'll try to upload some pics later on tonight but, it is in good condition considering it is a 98. There is no rust on the body and has low mileage but I have an aftermarket exhaust on it that needs to be replaced, and needs new brake pads. It has 20 inch chrome rims on it and windows are mirrored tint.

If you put an ad out there, I'd throw a $5k price tag and see what happens for starters. There are a few others out there on Autotrader around that price range.

I think my cousins husband is interested in it. But was asking how much I wanted for it, so I want to be fair but it's just one of those things.. It was my first car so there's an attachment to it on my end lol. I'm thinking of telling him $4k and see what he say's.

I say that's fair. Maybe throw him $4500 and then have $4k be a bottom dollar?

Sorry for the delay in response but I'll let you know how it goes :) Thanks for the help. I also took a picture the other day and uploaded it
