mediabandit
Hi guys. I have a 1991 Lumina Z34 and it's stalling out and dying at 3000 rpm while driving. I have replaced plugs, wires, coils packs, fuel filter and CAT. When it stalls it won't restart for awhile until it seems to cool down. Any idea what else it could be? I though maybe it was going into limp mode, but I'm not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

White93z34
did you replace the ignition control module (under the coils) when you did the coils?
mediabandit
Yes it will runs indefinitely at or under 3000rpm, both at idle and while driving. No issue with the fuel pressure either. I never thought of replacing the ICM when I replaced the coils. If that may be causing the issue I can pull the coils back off and replace it.
