TeeJay3800
What is the ideal idle speed for the LH0 3.1? On a cold morning (say 25ºF), immediately after starting the motor settles down to about a 1200 rpm idle and after about 2 min is down to 900-1000 rpm. When the motor is fully warmed up after 1/2 hour of driving it idles around 600-700. Is this the proper idle speed for this motor? BTW, I already followed the idle relearn procedure on 60degreeV6.com.

mfewtrail
mine is about the same....when my IAC went bad a while back it would shoot to ~2000 or maybe a bit more on cold starts(cold days..it was during the winter last year it went bad)..I drove it like that for 2 days, needless to say I worked in a highly populated area and tons of people wondered why I was giving it so much gas at start up...w/ the exhaust = loud as hell
91cutty
shouldn't it drop down to 650 rpm sooner than 1/2 hour? I know mine did after about 10 minutes driving.
