1979lee Posted August 14, 2013 Report Posted August 14, 2013 Is there such a thing? I Have heard about the cast aluminum aftermarket pan, but at Over 200$ i cant justifiy the price. thanks all:thumbsup: Quote
Crazy K Posted August 15, 2013 Report Posted August 15, 2013 On our cars an extra deep pan could hang lower than the frame and would be a magnet for trouble. I would not want that for daily driver use. If you want something that can really help your transmission, invest in a transmission cooler instead. If there was ever an extra deep factory pan, it would have to be on something that rides higher than our cars, like maybe an AWD u-van.... but it probably is not something that exists from the factory. no1kicker Posted August 16, 2013 Report Posted August 16, 2013 If you are talking about the ZZP finned aluminum pan, it does not add any fluid capacity, and is $209. Cartuning makes a trans pan spacer for $249, not sure if it's 3/4" or 1", and comes with a filter adapter. Quote
