Is there such a thing?

I Have heard about the cast aluminum aftermarket pan, but at Over 200$ i cant justifiy the price.

On our cars an extra deep pan could hang lower than the frame and would be a magnet for trouble. I would not want that for daily driver use. If you want something that can really help your transmission, invest in a transmission cooler instead.

 

If there was ever an extra deep factory pan, it would have to be on something that rides higher than our cars, like maybe an AWD u-van.... but it probably is not something that exists from the factory.

If you are talking about the ZZP finned aluminum pan, it does not add any fluid capacity, and is $209. Cartuning makes a trans pan spacer for $249, not sure if it's 3/4" or 1", and comes with a filter adapter.

thank you both. yes i was talking about the finned cast ally pan. looks nice. but at 200$......

i hadnt thought about clearence problems....
