3pt1lumina
It's always something this year. The odometer went out in my 99 Regal. You can barely see it at night and during the day not at all. The drivers information center has always been dim and I can still see that. Two questions.. Can this cluster be repaired? and if not replacing is easy but where is the mileage stored? I know in the J bodies the BCM stores it and you can plug in a new cluster and the cars current mileage will register. This car has low mileage so I do not want the odometer not working . RobertISaar
virtuetovice found out that the resistors on the back of the board for the DIC display portion cluster like to fall off. wouldn't surprise me if that happened here as well. he also found the spec, but i can't remember what it is now. i do know they're oddly shaped for a resisitor.
