ACTdryice
Does anyone feel strongly one way or the other about the 89 TGP vs the 90? Are there any real differences, other then minor interior change? Or is the only real dif in production numbers from first to second year. White93z34
Pretty much. There are a bunch of small differences between them but not enough to make me want one over the other. A 89' would be cool for the fact that they made a lot less of them, but that's really it.

mfewtrail
Any solid-ish info on production numbers from both years? 1989 - 750 coupes. 1990 - 2,749 coupes and 1,000 sedans(Turbo STE). At least that's the most commonly stated numbers. I'll eventually prove the numbers for the 1990 coupes a few years from now perhaps. I haven't given much time to my vin project in quite a while. On that note, I guess I'll search through a couple hundred numbers today....
twalt13
Having owned a 1989 for years, the next one I will get will be a 1990. The 1989 used older tech and parts, the 1990 seems to be easier to get parts for from other years. Just my humble opinion.
