l67ss Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 Is there any other parts aside from the case i have to supply for this conversion ? Quote
z34Phoenix Posted August 2, 2013 Report Posted August 2, 2013 i think the snout is a different length too. Quote
l67ss Posted January 7, 2014 Author Report Posted January 7, 2014 So i have been doing a lil more checking into this. Seems all i need from the m90 is the case. I have found several links to buy the conversion parts. My question is who can i have do this for me(or what tools and specs would i need to do this myself?) Thanks. Quote
Booba Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 One major question....why? You're going to have a stock high compression top swapped engine, with a stock sized pulley. Couldn't your time\money be better used building the motor to the point where you might need the m112? There's no reason to do something like this until you have reached the limited of your current blower. Quote
z34Phoenix Posted January 8, 2014 Report Posted January 8, 2014 agreed. also the m112 conversions were abandoned years ago in favor of turbos. if you want a little edge on your topswap get a gen V blower. what exactly are you looking for out of your car? i am hitting 13.9 on a stock pulley on my topswap! l67ss Posted January 8, 2014 Author Report Posted January 8, 2014 Trying to find the info now so i have it later. I have found it before but didnt save it and cant find jt again. Ive had turbo cars before(including a3.8 car) i dont like turbo and will go out of my way to avoid them. Quote
mfewtrail Posted January 8, 2014 Report Posted January 8, 2014 ClubGP.com would have all the M112 conversion info in old posts. Their search engine used to leave a bit to be desired, so try searching the site via google instead. Type into google "site:clubgp.com M112 conversion" for example, without the quotation marks. Maybe take a look at what some of the M90 cars are making as far as power goes while you're there. Quote
Booba Posted January 8, 2014 Report Posted January 8, 2014 I would track down a Gen V, reach it's max potential, then swap that over to m112, if you really have to. The Gen V has bigger rotors so it might be easier to do. Quote
