mchill07
All of the sudden as I'm approaching a stop, I have felt a slight bump as it shifts back into 1st gear. Doesn't happen all the time. Car shifts beautifully when driving. Trans fluid bright red and smells normal. Car is approaching 118,500 Mi. Maybe its time for a filter and fluid change? Has anyone else experienced this? 1995 GP 3100/4T60E

mchill07
The hydraulic engine mount is new. Trans mount and top mounts seem good and tight, think they are original though.
carkhz316
My old 91 Euro used to do this way back in the day. I did a pan drop and changed the fluid and filter, and added a quart of the Lucas oil Trans stuff, and it seemed to have went away after a couple months, or at least I never noticed again after that. This was about 7 years ago though. I had got the car with ~135K miles, in 2003. I did the pan drop for the second time in 2006 (this second fluid change is when I added the Lucas stuff) at ~160-170K miles. I never did figure out what was making the bump feeling though. Mine was very subtle, as in nobody but me really noticed.
