GaPrix Posted June 10, 2013 Report Posted June 10, 2013 After lubing up everything, I managed to strip the driver front lower bolt hole, I'm not sure if the means new bracket or new caliper? I've tried searching but cant quite find the info i need. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2 Quote

GaPrix Posted June 10, 2013 Author Report Posted June 10, 2013 im away from the car at the moment, best description is that it is the lower of the two caliper slide pin/bolt that if you were to take off you could easily lift the caliper to do a brake job. Quote
dodgethis Posted June 11, 2013 Report Posted June 11, 2013 Check this picture out, I know I am Gen 1.5, but does it help?
Quote
GaPrix Posted June 11, 2013 Author Report Posted June 11, 2013 yeah it does, the little hole on the caliper there with the wire running through it, it would be the lower one of those two. I was getting an alignment and they gave me a bunch of attitude saying I stripped one of those, which I'm fairly certain I would have noticed the bolt/pin just spinning in circles, we got into a slight argument about it I was fairly confident I would need a new bracket they swore I needed a caliper and that I had no idea what I was doing or talking about. White93z34 Posted June 11, 2013 Report Posted June 11, 2013 If we are talking 1G front calipers I believe the caliper bolt/sliderpin threads into the caliper. Quote
