Chris2012 Posted May 24, 2013 Report Posted May 24, 2013 I cracked open an old dead one, expecting to find a bunch of electronics, but there was nothing but a 12v battery. It wasn't even very big. Are these any different then the kind found in battery backup systems, alarms, etc. (Yuasa, Panasonic I think are a couple of names). Or even the ones in kid cars, though I think most of them are 6v. RobertISaar Posted May 24, 2013 Report Posted May 24, 2013 not really.... it's a 12V lead-acid battery. not sure if they're usually deep-cycle. i opened up mine to see what was in there, reminded me of a lawn tractor battery. should be easy to replace, should i ever need to. Quote
skitchin Posted May 24, 2013 Report Posted May 24, 2013 Just a battery w/ a testing and charging circuit Quote
