northcarolinaman Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 The Caddy 3.6L DOHC produces over 300 horses stock and I believe it can be had with a 6-speed automatic or manual. Has anyone tried this swap yet? I bet that would really make a W-body car scream. Quote

RobertISaar Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 assuming you're not dead-set on a direct injection engine, there were 3.6s installed in W-bodies while they were still port injected. 05-09 LaCrosse CXS. only made 240/225 though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_High_Feature_engine#LY7 but you could get them up to 275/251 if you pick the right application.
