Spidey
1996 Grand Prix 3100 145,000 miles Hesitating when warm. Taking off from a stop, especially between 20 and 30 MPG, the car feels like it's fighting itself to accelerate. I changed the fuel filter and air filter. Could my fuel pump be going bad? I was told that the pumps on these cars just go out all of the sudden--they don't slowly go bad. If I gun it, it takes off perfectly. If I'm giving it gas before it kicks down, it wants to hesitate. Garrett Powered
in 96 they had real gas at most places. I would run clear gas in it. do a search for stations near you that sell it. the thing that kills our fuel pumps is voltage drops.
