BS009
Hey guys, I'm trying to find a good spot to send a vacuum line and a few wires through the firewall. The end goal is to get them to the a-pillar, but I don't want to have to tear apart the dashboard to get to them. Anybody ever done this before and know of a good place to drill? Then engine and transmission are out of the car so the sky's the limit.
Dark Ride
I haven't looked too closely at the 2nd gen, but I would look at existing holes in the firewall plate or around that area. I ran a number of wires, etc. through the firewall on my TGP, I just used the hole for the non-existant column shift if I remember correctly. Thomasbaker
Hey guys, I'm trying to find a good spot to send a vacuum line and a few wires through the firewall. Then engine and transmission are out of the car so the sky's the limit. Never thought like that. I have hired one mechanic for my car and will ask him about your suggestion? BS009
I haven't looked too closely at the 2nd gen, but I would look at existing holes in the firewall plate or around that area. I ran a number of wires, etc. through the firewall on my TGP, I just used the hole for the non-existant column shift if I remember correctly. I forgot about those column shifters. I'll definitely have to take a closer look there. Thanks. I also recently read that there's a spot next to the throttle wire so I should have it taken care of this weekend then.
