Robby1870 Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 I tried searching, and couldnt find any definite info. Has anyone done a 94+ rear conversion and got the E-brake to work? If so, how? Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 STR has a working ebrake. Search for posts by him. God, I sounded like Redfox when I said that... :fruity: Quote

STR Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 yeah, I did. Very easy too. All you need to do for the part at the caliper is to grind off the little spring at the ends of the e-brake cables and hook them on the caliper. Then you will need to unscrew the eq-bar that ties the two rear cables to the one cable going into the car. Add about an inch of washers to even out the rear cables and tighten up. Here is a pic. RedZMonte Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 i did it on my turbo grand prix and on my lumina. search. i had to get different rear brake hoses and then put a spacer on one side below the bracket that holds the parking brake (passanger side i believe) Quote
