mkube396
I was servicing my transmission in my 07 impala. Just doing a filter change, cleaning the magnet, and replacing the old oil with dex VI every thing looked good. But for whatever reason I started poking around and 1 of the tubes in there was LOOSE! So I pressed it back in the tube bore. It was the one with a 2" pice of hose on the steel line “see Pic” what is that tube for? The transmission seemed to be shifting fine. But after I put it back in what the trans was doing before was 1-2 shift seems to put load on the engine all most push you forward “like engine braking” then put you back in the seat. This was only at part throttle. Now that the tube is back it is not doing that any more.. 1 thing to note after the oil change the car sat for 3 hr after the first test drive that went fine. I started was getting a clunk if I hit the gas from a dead stop when I ran to the store. But now that went away. And every thing seems good. I saspect it was just air in the system or accumulators giving that clunk after I changed the oil....
Crazy K
That is the differential spray lubricator. they are always loose like that, and I try to fight that a little by scoring the tube a bit so it binds in the bore easier.
