mchill07
I have just had the EGR valve and the throttle body off to clear the blocked EGR passage That was giving me the engine light. As i was piecing the job back together the tube which runs from the air filter duct to the rear valve cover fell out. It seems that the rubber seal which holds it in has disintegrated to the point that it is really lose. I didn't notice any retaining seal in the valve cover it's self, so i believe that the seal was actually molded on the the tube. What it the proper name for the tube so that I may begin to either search for one or figure out how to repair it.
95 vert
The help section at Oreilly's has a grommet kit (4-5 different sizes) that will have the seal you need. Less than ten bucks.
mchill07
[h=1]#10230635- gm calls it an emission systems harness. No wonder I was having trouble, i thought it was a tube.[/h]
