96' Cutlass Fog Lamp Lens

Hey All,

Got a cracked left fog lamp lens that's letting a lot of rain inside the assembly. Hot bulbs don't like cold rain and actually exploded the bulb. Trying to find a lens at a parts house but no luck. I've heard they're expensive from dealers. Going to try some salvage yards as well. Anyone have any more suggestions? I did see the post on making your own glass, but I'm not sure I'm ready for that yet. Thanks.

Well, if you don't want to pay a ton (and for good reason), junkyards are your only shot.

But, I've personally rebuilt mine; since I couldn't find intact fog leses and didn't have any more patience to search.

If you need a full procedure, let me know... I've got one posted.

Found one at a local salvage yard. Only had the drivers side which is what I needed. I got lucky--$25 for the entire assembly/bracket.

***by golly how about that for lucky. Way to go! did you happen to see any other parts that might be useful to the group?***
