Mach 5
okay so Im trying to find lowering springs for the tgp and I cant seem to find them anymore. I had Intrax 95-99 monte springs but those I sold 2 years ago not knowing that I would end up with a tgp lol! funny how that works. and any idea on how much a birchmount would lower? I know I am going to have to sit here and search and read Im just curious as I have a birchmount as it came not installed with the car and whats guys normal use thanks -Jarek
Rdrckt_92
I have a birchmount leaf and intrax springs on my 92, I think the birchmount lowered it around 2", maybe 2.5" after it settled. I think eibach springs are still available for the front.
GOT2B GM
Birchmount / Intrax combo keep in mind I'm running 245/45/16 tires.
19Cutlass94
Jarek, check the my thread at the top of the page. It has all the front lowering springs and where to purchase them.
intern8tion9l
ooooh i thought you were keeping the tgp at stock 4x4 height?
Mach 5
I was going to leave it but I have mismatched springs in the front and the left side sags about an inch. thus since the car came with the birchmount Im thinking about swapping it in if I can get lowering springs for the front. i like the way that looks in those pics. Now hows the ride? stiff? noisey??
GOT2B GM
Stiff, quiet.
Turbo v-sick
I used the 3" drop on the rear and trimmed the stock springs till I got the desired ride height for the front. Obviously there are other ways to do this. I have had no ill effects from cutting the front springs. Car rides stiff and handles great.
