RobertISaar
how old is the thermostat?
Night Fury
Grille size should make hardly any difference, I'd start with replacing the thermostat
Schurkey
When my '92 Euro 3.4 wouldn't reach operating temp, the thermostat was stuck partially-open. That was the first time my engine oil didn't pass an oil analysis. Contaminated with moisture that wouldn't boil out due to low operating temp. Thermostat and oil change fixed everything. white96supreme
I've been wondering about this with my cutlass. It warms up normally or what seems to be normal. I hooked up a scan tool and the ECT sensor reads about 150 degrees after running for 45 minutes. Maybe my t-stat is failed partially open also. 72cuttysupreme
It is without a doubt your thermostat. Mine did the same thing. I changed it and the problem was solved. Its not a hard fix. About 45 minutes of your time.
